Izzy's First Christmas

We had a great Christmas season! It was so cool to add Izzy into all of our normal traditions. On Christmas Eve we opened one present and Izzy got a taste of the fun to come!

Tim got me and Izzy matching bracelets! My favorite gift!

Izzy made salt and pepper shakers for daddy with her footprints on them.

I was surprised that the jack in the box didn't scare her at all!

Izzy got a little piano which she loves to bang on!

Tearing off the paper was lots of fun!

She also got a puzzle mat that makes animal noises- which she loves to tear apart

The day after Christmas my parents came and we went to the Childrens Museum in Greensboro. We had alot of fun and left with a really tired little girl! The pic below is out of order... can't figure out how to move it.... more pics of clidrens museum in a little bit :)

Our friends Tim & Ed came over for lunch on Christmas and Izzy had fun playing with them. She ate honey baked ham, green bean casserole and crescent rolls.

Izzy loves Grandma's dog Mia

Here we are more childrens museum pics- she had much fun with the mirror. She kept giving herself kisses :)

The sandbox was a big hit :)

So cute!
She is Grandpa's princess!

On Sunday we went to the zoo. It is one of Tim & I's traditions to go the day after Christmas but it was a yucky day that day. Sunday was beautiful and we had a great time!

We took Izzy's wagon and this is her riding down a big hill!

The lion was eating his lunch really close to the observation lookout! Izzy was roaring at them!

Excited for chimps!

She really liked the flamingos!

I think she thought the meerkats were ferrets :)

She was clapping for the elephant!

Overall it was a wonderful Christmas season! We were tired from all the excitement and visitors. Grandma Diane also came Christmas evening and Uncle Josh and Aunt Bethany on sunday night... we just forgot to take any pics... Also Izzy said her first word... it was ball :) Of course she says dada, momma and Izzy. She is crawling like crazy and pulling up. She is standing without holding on to anything for about 10 secs or as soon as she realizes it! Becoming more and more of her own little person everyday. Guess our next big thing will be her 1 year birthday! I can't believe it!!!

Walking with Lion

Izzy's newest trick is to walk around pushing her lion. She gets really excited when we cheer for her and goes really fast until she runs into something. I have to get better with the video camera but here is my first video :)

Thanksgiving & Christmas at Grandma Anderson's

My first Christmas ornament worn as bling :)

We had such a fun time at Thanksgiving! We did Christmas presents with my family then. Izzy enjoyed seeing all the people and was very friendly. She wasn't too sure about the dogs at first but warmed up to them! She loved ripping the wrapping paper off and stealing other people's presents- see above. She really liked Aunt Bethany's scarf :) We went and had turkey day with Tim's family- Izzy had butter beans, green beans and tried & hated rutabagas! At my family's dinner she had turkey, cheeseand stuffing all of which she loved. It was a great trip!!
