What we've been up too...

We have been pretty busy lately- you know with holidays, winter colds, having a infant & toddler and all :) So I am a little behind. Here are some pics of things we've been doing!

Trying to find the perfect tree..... we left Piper with the Wilson's thinking Izzy would like the time with just Tim and I. The whole time she asked about Piper. "Baby Piper come too?" "Go get Baby Piper?" Very cute :)

Picture with Santa

Our first attempt at a picture with Santa. We didn't go last year because the line was crazy. This year the line wasn't bad at all. I think it went pretty good considering Izzy was getting over a cold and not interested in smiling. She really was excited to see Santa though ;) She wanted to make sure Baby Piper would come too. Izzy climbed right into his lap and sat there. After the picture we took Piper back and Santa gave Izzy a little coloring book and told her the real reason for Christmas was it was Jesus's birthday. Then he sang Happy Birthday to Jesus! Way to go mall Santa!!!! I was impressed!

Family Portrait

Our church is having a new directory made and so that means a family portrait. We were so excited to have Piper in time to include her. We went at the same time as the Izzy's best friend Nathan so we got some pictures of the two of them together. We are so happy with how they all turned out!!!

Piper's first week

We have been pretty busy around here the past week! Life is crazy with two kiddos but we are loving it! Izzy is a GREAT big sister and is taking all the change in stride. Don't have much time to write but here are some pics. Did want to mention the smart start nurse came out for a visit and checked up on me and Piper. Piper weighed in at 9lbs and 3 oz!!!!!!!! Guess my milk has come in huh? She is a great eater- does have a little problem with burping and some spit up but hopefully that will pass. As far as the sleeping she is doing ok for a newborn...... a HUGE thanks to Katie for all the help she has been. She is "the Baby Whisperer." She can get Piper asleep faster and keep her asleep longer than anyone. She spent the night here and kept Piper downstairs so Tim and I could get some much needed sleep in our bed together. WOW! It was awesome to sleep!!!! On to the pictures....
