Holiday Parade!!

DSC_0021

I love memory making, fun things to do with our family Open-mouthed smile  Kind of an obsession!  The local holiday parades are lots of fun!  We headed out today in our cold weather gear and had a blast!  Although is was 55 there was a mean wind- the girls stayed nice and cozy under their multiple layers and blanket.

Thanks mom!

This past week Tim went out of town to a conference for work.  I DO NOT like staying by myself.  I have never lived alone (I married Tim the middle of my high school senior year).  So I asked my mom to come and hang out with us while Tim was gone.  We had a great week together!  The girls enjoyed having Grandma here to color with them, read them books, take them shopping and just hang out with them!  We stayed busy all week with trips to the grocery store, Target, Lifeway, dance class, and dinner out (I’m kicking myself for not taking any pictures!!)!  While the girls were at preschool Mom helped me fold and put away all our clean clothes- woohoo!  The girls are NOT used to Tim being gone and missed him pretty bad but having Grandma here helped to keep them entertained!  It helped me not be scared with someone else in the house too!  On Friday night we went to a fundraiser at Tanglewood.  Every year they have a Christmas lights display you can drive through.  We have never been because I’ve always heard the lines are too long- so when a friend sent me an email about this event I was really excited!  We got all geared up and headed there with a wagon to pull the girls in.  It was beautiful!!  We had a good time and got a great workout!!

Milk update

DSC_0001

This is our deep freezer- almost full of breast milk!!

At this point we have 1,617 ounces of milk!!

Praise God!  I never thought I would be stocking up milk like this.  But God has called me to it and I have obeyed.  I’m so excited to be able to breast feed our baby!  I am also excited to be able to donate some of the milk I’ve pumped to friends who are adopting.  God is good!!

Matched!!!!

Praise God we were selected by a birth mother in Florida on Sunday!!!!!!

I was able to talk to her on the phone yesterday for the first time.  We talked for 1.5 hours!  She is AMAZING!  I love her so much already and we are so thankful for her choice of adoption.  We got along really well and both enjoyed getting to know each other!  Our personalities match really well and I am sooooo thrilled that she wants to have a relationship with us now and continue the relationship after the baby is born!!  I smiled SO much during our phone call I had to take some Motrin for my poor cheeks Open-mouthed smile  I am still smiling now!  We are so thankful for God bringing this wonderful woman into our lives!!

We don’t know the sex of the baby yet and probably won’t find out until after November 19th.  I’m ok with that- although I may have to pick out a few boy things just in case.  C (our birth mom) thinks it is a boy!!!

We are all so thrilled- what an awesome Christmas present!  Thank You God!!!!
