Little bit more snow for us a week or so ago!

The snow melted and cousin Luke came to play!
So fun seeing them together! They are just about the same size and into everything!
Then we got some nice weather and we spent some time outside!

We had a blast at the circus this weekend! We made it a tradition when Izzy turned one, fiver years ago, and we have been loving it ever since! Cassidy went last year but at just under a month old she didn’t know what was going on. It was fun to see her so excited- she had no idea what was coming but was pumped up just from the big girls being so excited! We started with the animals first.
The elephants were their favorite! The big girls made cards for some of their favorite people in the circus… the elephants got cards
After that we bought our souvenirs. A wand for Piper and a mommy elephant for Izzy and a baby elephant for Cassidy
Then we headed to the preshow. You can go down on the floor and see the circus acts up close. The girls gave their cards to this clown
As we were walking around a lady came up to us and asked us to come with her. We followed her and she took us to a tent that said “the ring master’s zone.” We didn’t really know what was going on. They were filming and taking lots of pics of the kids in there… I guess to maybe use on commercials? They took the picture of us that’s at the top of this post. Gave us a copy and a USB with the file. They also gave us a DVD of the elephants and a calendar. I was waiting for them to tell me it cost money but they didn’t! We got to walk around in there and they had photo ops

And free popcorn!! We stayed in there until the elephant came out and painted and then we headed to our seats. We were kinda in shock that we got to have such a cool treat!

Cassidy loved clapping her hands and seeing all the animals! This year’s theme was legends so they had a Pegasus, unicorn and a wooly mammoth. They girls were entranced!! We had a lot of fun! Love seeing them get so excited and have a good time!!
Our first snow this winter was kind of pathetic! Just enough to cover the grass. We got up early and got all of our snow clothes on and headed out!

Cassidy enjoyed being outside but you know how those snowsuits are with babies- she could hardly move!
We attempted to use the pool…. but it didn’t work :/ We had a blast! Hoping for some more white stuff today!

We went to the countdown to noon years at a church in town. Cassidy was recovering from a cold no not too playful but was happy to wear these glasses!

The other night we decided to roast s’moes! Tim built a little fire and we got all ready for the cold. Cassidy enjoyed sitting in this little chair and watching the fire! The big girls LOVED the marshmallows!
We used fudge stripe cookies so Piper can eat them too. Yummy!

I can’t believe our sweet girl is one year old!!! She has brought such joy and laughter to our family! We had a great time celebrating her!

My sweet sweet 1 year old girl! Her personality is showing more and more. She is a very laid back baby. She prefers to crawl around and explore instead of sitting in one spot. She loves to be held and snuggle. She rarely cries- only when fighting sleep! Her belly laugh is deep and so so adorable! She is talking more and more….. all done, good girl, up and uh (hasn’t gotten the –oh yet!). She loves her sisters and is more than willing to go to most people. She doesn’t stop when she’s awake… always exploring!
We are so thankful for Cassidy! We waited and prayed for her for a long while. She is right at home in our family. Can’t imagine life without her! We are so grateful to her birth mom who made the selfless decision to do what she thought was best for Cassidy. We love her and Cassidy is one LOVED girl!!
