Crazy driver

Izzy loves her little car. Now she can start at the bottom of the driveway and push herself up backwards and roll down. She really likes how fast she goes. For a long time she wouldn't hold up her feet and they would drag under her and get stuck. Now she holds them up and is so happy to ride in her car! For those of you who don't know sign language... at the end she signs more :)

Beach Vacation

Get ready for lots of pics! We went to my parent's beach house this past weekend and we had a great time! Izzy had never been there before so she enjoyed exploring all the new sights. While we were there we went to the Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium. Izzy really liked all the fish and other animals. It was great for me because her attention span is equal to mine- so we weren't standing at any exhibit too long :)

Izzy & Daddy's favorite were the otters. Izzy thought they were ferrets. They were really active- splashing, jumping and wrestling in the water.

There is a little beach right in front of my parents house. It is where the Neuse and the Sound meet.... it is brackish water but there are still some little waves. Izzy had a blast! Best part... we had it all to ourselves :)

My brother and his wife came with their new little girl- Penny. Izzy was pretty good with her- very interested and (mostly) gentle.

Getting her toes- right after this Izzy grabbed on to the chair and rocked Penny for a bit- big sister practice.
