Easter fun 2013

 

Coloring Eggs!

Our kit came with a magic crayon to draw on the eggs and your drawing appears after you dye.

I was impressed with Izzy’s face she drew!

Had a playdate on Good Friday where we listened to the Easter story and made Resurrection rolls & Jelly bean prayer bags.

Cassidy’s first Egg Hunt!  We had a Egg Hunt with our Sunday School class- it was a lot of fun!

The Easter Bunny dropped off a note with magic beans to plant. Reminding them the reason for Easter

It started out with a Sunday afternoon nap on me after she had already taken a nap.

Another nap Monday morning and a high fever….

AND…. she had the flu… and strep throat!!!

We were scared Cassidy would catch it but lots of prayers went up, lots of soap, Clorox wipes and hand sanitizer and NOBODY else got sick!  Whoo hoo!  Praise God!  The worst part for Piper was not being able to hold Cassidy.  After she had been fever free for a day she was SO happy to be able to hold her again!!
