Fall fun begins!

I love the fall weather we have been having!! It is so nice to put on long sleeves and sweatshirts :) I also love all the fun fall things that we can go and do. There are tons of pumpkin patches, Halloween activities and hayrides! This week we went to Jamestown United Methodist Church's pumpkin patch and hayride with MOPS. I THOUGHT that the evite said to dress the kiddos in their Halloween costumes... apparently I made that up :) OOPS! Oh well.... so I told Katie and Izzy and Nathan wore their costumes. They were insanely adorable and had alot of fun!

We have also been going to the park alot- trying to get in a few more days before it gets too cold. Daddy came to meet us on this day and Izzy was happy to see him. This is how they talk when she is riding on his shoulders. I LOVE that they have such a good relationship :)

A few weekends ago my big brother Matt and his wife Emily came with their little girl Penny. Izzy wasn't too sure of her but was very interested. She refused to smile for pictures but at least she didn't try to hurt Penny!

Boy have we been busy!!!!

As the title says- we have been BUSY! We bought a new house and moved, I had some issues with preterm labor- got put on bed rest, and life still goes on chasing an ever growing ever running toddler! It has been a whirlwind the past few weeks but we have been enjoying it all- well except the bed rest part! All is well with baby Piper now- I am off bed rest, although I am still supposed to be taking it easy and will not be going back to work until after she comes! So lets see what we have been getting into lately.....

We went on a farm hayride out in Summerfield. It was awesome!

There was a hay maze- side note- so I thought it would be bales of hay stacked up really high so you couldn't see.... hehehehehe- didn't have any clue this is what hay looked like when it was growing. Anyways the kiddos had a blast running..... then they got hot and tired..... as did the mommies. I ended up putting Izzy on my shoulders and cutting through the maze to get out! I know I know I cheated!

For my birthday Katie and I went to the fair... I was on bed rest at the time so Katie made me rent a motorized wheelchair to drive around...... it wasn't so bad. We had a great time at the fair- ate lots of good food and the kiddos rode some rides. Izzy's favorite (which I have no picture of) was the pony ride. She was so excited and did great!
