Big Girl Bed!!!!

Since baby Piper's arrival is getting closer and closer we are moving Izzy into her Big Girl Room! Complete with Big Girl Bed! She was very excited to help put it together. We bought her bed at IKEA a while back and just now got around to putting it together. It is reversible. Right now it is a bunk bed with her sleeping right on the floor... no worries of her falling out :) It has another bunk on top where we are going to put most of her toys at night so she won't be getting up to play. Later on we can flip the bed upside down- then it will be up off the floor with storage underneath! We are very happy with it and Izzy seems to like it too!
Izzy had fun "helping daddy" put it together!

Resting with daddy after all of their hard work!

We needed a gate to keep her in at night- so she helped put that up too!
Notice the extremely big croc on her...... she loves to wear it around.
She can only wear one at a time!

We let her pick out her Big Girl Sheets and blanket. She picked the littlest pet shop- it has a monkey, puppy and turtle! AND is pink she keeps reminding me :)

I think she likes it!! We have taken a few naps on it together- we aren't fitting too well on the couch these days with my expanding belly:) So far she sleeps really well on it! We are going to transition her into her Big Girl Room for good this weekend! Pray that it goes well!!

Church Picnic

We had a picnic with our Sunday School class on Sunday afternoon. It was alot of fun! Here are some pics.... of course there are no pics from when we were eating because A-I was feeding a VERY hungry toddler and B- I was feeding me too!! We had alot of fun playing and hanging out with friends.

Izzy and Z swinging.
Our family wore our new matching TyeDye shirts.... didn't get a shot of all 3 of us yet.
The spicket was a big hit! My kiddo doesn't like being too hot without getting wet!

She was very interested with how it went through her fingers....

mmmmmmmmm Popsicles...... she had 2 herself and about 5 bites of every other kiddos!

Tuckered out little girl..... Daddy loving it!

Told you she was tuckered!!

Hot week!!!

This week was super hott! Well to me anything is hot... remember I am carrying around another little one- who happens to be a heater! I have a hard time being outside for long when there isn't water involved. This makes Izzy happy of course :) She loves all things water and plays so hard it always equals a good night of sleep for everyone!! My mom bought Izzy two sprinklers and she loves playing in the water...... here are some of my favorite pics. We have a flower and a duck- they don't do anything fancy- just shoot water out- but that is enough for Izzy!

On Saturday night after the sprinkler she went to pick out clothes to put on...... she almost always picks out what she wears. She wanted to wear this pretty dress. Daddy made a deal with her that she could wear it to church the next day. In the morning he brought it and another dress downstairs and asked her which one she wanted. She looked at him so funny and said pink dress..... the way she said it and the look she had on her face were hilarious! It was like she was saying The pink dress... duh! I told you I wanted to wear it yesterday! Hahahaha. Anyways she was adorable and got lots of attention at church :)

For a last minute afternoon playdate we met Katie & Nathan at Oak Hollow Lake Park. Why haven't we gone there before?? It was really nice! We took bread to feed the ducks- which the kiddos loved. I loved that it is right on the water so there is a breeze! We will definitely go back here again.

Apparently the bread wasn't JUST for the ducks :)

This is a pretty big slide.....

This one was more manageable :)

Nathan showing off his hanging skills!

He calls this a roller coaster......it comes out so cute!

Tried the big slide by themselves...

Didn't work out to well.....

For either of them--- Izzy ended up face-planting at the end!
It was a really fun week! We also had a playdate with Madison... I didn't take any pics and I am kicking myself for that! The two girls played well together and Shelby & I had a good time hanging out :) Next time we will definitely take some pictures. We also met Kristin & Zachary at the mall and played and ate lunch there.... now there are only like 4 places to choose from to eat :( There is a new toy store that sells Melissa & Doug toys- a good place to get ideas but I probably wouldn't buy anything there.... it is expensive! The kids had fun trying to ransack the store though :)
