All in one

This post is a bunch of smaller posts all in one. Instead of separating it out I figured I would just put it all in one :) The first section is some pics of Piper. People ask me all the time if I think She & Izzy look alike. So the first to are Piper and the next three are Izzy at 6 months..... I think they look alot alike!

Izzy continues to be an AWESOME big sister! She is so good at sharing things with Piper- sings to her when she is fussy, gives her the paci, and pretty much entertains her constantly!! It is evident how much Piper adores her :)

Izzy has gotten into dress-up and pretending a whole lot. She is fixing Tim's hair in a ponytail :)

We hosted totschool this week. Alaina & Izzy had a blast playing doctor. They were very gentle with eachother, took turns well and really enjoyed it!

The pool in our neighborhood opened up this weekend. Here are my super cool girls.

Piper is almost ready to crawl! She sits up really well and is really interested in getting all the toys/crumbs of food around her :) MY HOUSE IS NOT CLEAN ENOUGH FOR HER TO BE MOBILE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But it looks like I need to get to cleaning or hire a maid because she is not going to be sitting still much longer!

(What I don't have a choking hazard hidden here between my legs.... I don't know what you're talking about)

So there you have it..... all we have been up to recently rolled into one post!!

Office

My mom collected some random office type things for Izzy to play office with. We got them out and Izzy had a fun time playing with it all and putting it back up. She keeps telling "Mommy I think Piper wants to take a nap" so we can play office again :)

She had a little trouble squeezing the clips but really liked putting them on the paper
We organized them by color.

Her favorite thing by far was a ziploc bag of 11 calculators!! She loved getting them all out and pushing all the buttons. We played cash register and pretended they were phones.... so fun to see what her imagination comes up with.

There are tons of different containers so we used some to sort the pompoms by color. Izzy had a fun time doing it but then decided it was more fun to put the pompoms in her & my shirts ;) So silly!

Face painting & Tattoo

Last weekend there was a little carnival for a grand opening of a medical office center near our house. Tim as working so I decided to take Izzy & Piper and one of my friend's kiddo's- Grace. We had a great time! There were blow-up bounce things, a slide, games, face painting, tattoos and more. Grace was a super big help and Izzy & Piper love her :) She got her face painted so of course Izzy wanted to also. I was surprised she didn't get what Grace got- nope she said she wanted a green heart- and that is what she got!

Izzy's tattoo is on her arm (it is a butterfly). This is her trying to show it to me so I can take a picture. We had Wendy's for lunch to end our fun outing. I think I will be taking Grace along more often!!

Gazebo

We are definitely enjoying the gazebo! Izzy loves to run around in it, have tea parties and just sit and enjoy the shade. Good job hubby!!!

Grandma got Izzy this tutu dress and she says it is a princess dress :)

Penelope's Birthday

We went to my parent's house this weekend to celebrate Penelope's 1st birthday! I can't believe she is almost 1 year old already!!! She is super cute and we were happy to be there with her to celebrate! I didn't get as many pics as I would have liked to but I did get some. Here is the birthday girl and her Mommy.

Penny was VERY interested in Piper and kept wanting to hug and play with her.

Izzy had a good time helping grandpa. These pics make me want to cry! My daddy is an awesome man & I love him so much. So glad he and Izzy got to play together some this weekend..... she adores him and has mentioned helping him several times since we have been home.

We had a good time with all of the family. Like I said I wish I had gotten more pictures! Can't wait to see you all again!

Sagging pants & Naked Baby

My mom bought Izzy these adorable shorts for next year.... I washed them and was planning on putting them away but Izzy pulled them out of the clean clothes pile and insisted on wearing them. They are a little big :) She had fun today playing in a bowl of water in our backyard..... she got soaked and her pants were sagging but she was happy & that makes me happy :)

Piper loves to be naked!! I got some cute pics of her the other day and had to share!

I know the elephant looks a little weird here... it is one that sings and dances and she LOVES it. She pulled it down and it hides her little privates perfectly....

Her smiles are priceless!!
