Saying YES!

God has truly been working in my life in these past few weeks. It started with reading Made to Crave and continued through reading Tender Mercies for a Mother's soul. I went back and forth with God trying to decide where He wanted me right now. I wanted to be in a Bible study but I didn't want to have to do the work. God didn't let go and eventually I gave in and joined the Bible study at Westover called "The Amazing Collection". Each week we read through a book of the Bible and learn about it. There is homework- and I am learning this is what I needed. I am LOVING reading the Bible and learning new things. Honestly I thought it was going to be a little boring but it has been the opposite. I am excited to read and make connections that I never knew were there. I am LOVING the small group time. I have been praying for some godly women who are a little bit farther ahead of me in life to shepherd me- and that is just what God has given me. He is awesome!! Along with the Bible study I have started a new book called "What happens when women say yes to God". It is by the same author as Made to Crave and it is just as good! I am learning what it looks like to say yes to God in the everyday things and in bigger things. It is awesome to see what God can do. I look forward to where he is taking me- and I can't wait! It has also been really cool to see how God has brought Tim to a place where he is seeking God daily and is in the same hungry place as me. It is wonderful to be able to talk about what I am hearing God say to me and process through that with Him. I am so thankful to have a Christian husband who is in God's word and seeking God's will for his life and for our family. I am so overwhelmingly joyful for the blessings we have received. As we are still waiting to hear where we stand with our adoption process and where God has for Tim to work- I am at peace. I can rest knowing God has plans to prosper us!! And I can't wait to see what is next in HIS plan!! There was a great song at church the other week "If You say Go" and it pinpoints where we are in life right now. Here is the link if you are interested :) "Your ways are higher than our ways and the plans that you have laid are good and true" WOW!!
