Thanksmas 2013

Every year we get together with my side of the family sometime in December for a combo Thanksgiving/Christmas= Thanksmas.  Last year I didn’t get to go because I was in Florida waiting for sweet Cassidy to be born.  I was so happy to be there this year and it was SO fun seeing all the cousins together!

Saturday we spent some time at the soup kitchen my dad serves at.  Our family was able to serve together and give the other volunteers the day off.  It was a great experience and made a big impact on my girls!

The weather was nice so we got to spend some time outside and the girls took all the dogs on several walks with Grandpa.  We managed to get a whole family picture too!  DSC_0053DSC_0051

Very thankful for a fun weekend with our extended family!

I also got to spend some time with my best friend from high school who I haven’t seen in years.  It was fun introducing the girls to her.  They have known who she is for a long time and have carried around her high school picture talking about Holly Smile  So it was fun for them to meet her!  Kicking myself for not getting any pics of that!  Oh well!  Hope to see her again soon!
