Life with a toddler

I am warning you ahead of time.. there are lots of pics! Life with a toddler is very interesting... she is wanting to be on the go and doing something all the time! It is so cute to see her toddle around... getting in to everything. She is talking more and becoming more adventurous in what she eats. She ate about half a steak last weekend on Saturday and chicken lo mein on Sunday. No pics of that but funny side note... while eating the chicken lo mein she looked down and pointed at some chicken and said "dog". Daddy laughed and said... "maybe:)" We had lots of fun this week and then this weekend went to Raleigh on Sunday to go to Pullen Park. On with the pics!

Fun N the Sun

Anyone else find it ironic that the post under this is fun in the snow?? The weather is crazy but we sure enjoy all God has been giving us :) The snow was fun but late last week and early this week we have been enjoying the sunshine and warm weather! Izzy likes short sleeves! We have had a blast this week! Now it is back to cold weather again but that is ok... we have been inside at consignment sales! YAY! I don't know what I love about them so much. Maybe it reminds me of when I was younger going yard sailing, maybe it is the thrill of the hunt, maybe it is getting a good deal or maybe it is getting fun new toys and clothes for Izzy at a great price.... whatever the reason they are fun! I will make another post with Izzy playing with her new stuff later! Izzy is walking like a maniac but we haven't gotten a good video... will work on that and post later....But on to the pics for this week!

Fun n the snow!!

Contrary to all of our friends..... we had a great time in the snow this time! Last time I think I put her in too many clothes and there was no one else to hold her while I took pictures. This time I didn't put her in quite so many layers and daddy was here to play too. I worked the night before so we went out when I got up around 1pm. It was still chilly but we had a blast!!! It all brings back such wonderful childhood memories for me.... I grew up in West Virginia (no jokes please!!!) and we had snow alot and LOTS of it! I ran and jumped and probably had more fun than Tim & Izzy combined! I LOVE snow! YAY! We have a great back yard for sledding....yet no sled. No problem! We unfolded a cardboard box and viola...a sled!!

Brought out the ballpit.... almost passed out trying to blow it up! That is another story! Izzy loves it! She has learned how to throw the balls and loves to crawl in and out! Balls are kinda scarce now but we are getting some more.

Izzy is having lots of fun being 1 year old! She has taken a few steps but crawling is still the main mode of transportation. She has found some new words... NO being her favorite. She is also obsessed with goldfish and signs fish all the time to ask for them! Even at 3am... she wants goldfish! Uh Oh... she is waking up.....gotta go!
