Children’s museum

On Friday the girls and I went to the Children’s museum for some 4th of July fun.  You could bring your “ride”- be it a wagon, bike or trike, decorate it and be in the parade around the museum.  Sounded like fun to us!  We got there a little early and the girls had a fun time exploring.  005 006I love the way Piper is looking at Izzy! 010 012 028

The train has a tea party set up inside which made Izzy sooooo happy!  She loves tea parties and played happily here for a long time.  While I decorated the wagon.  023033

Piper thought it was great fun to rip off the decorations I had worked so hard on…. note the rip. 041 051 There were popsicles for all after the parade… including Piper :)  She was a fan!060 063

We played some more after the parade.  Piper really liked the mirrors.  She would look at herself, smile and then bonk her head into the mirror, smile… repeat :)  Izzy had fun playing with all the other kids at the museum.  She doesn’t hesitate to walk up to several kids playing and say “Hey what’s your name”.  Very cute.  Surprisingly she always introduces herself as Isabella (not Izzy)  Anyways we had a fun time and will try to come back next year if they do it again!!
